Dr Wright comes from a family of dental healthcare providers; his father is a restorative dentist in Oak Ridge, TN and mother is a retired dental hygienist. He grew up in Oak Ridge and attended the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Wright acquired his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997 from the University of Tennessee. He completed advanced training in Endodontics at the University of Maryland in 1999. Dr. Wright served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland while completing Endodontic coursework and obtaining a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Wright practiced in Plano, Texas while serving part-time on the faculty at the Baylor College of Dentistry before opening his practice in Nashville, Tennessee in 2002.
He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Tennessee Academy of Endodontists, Southern Endodontic Study Group, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, Millenium Study Club, and the Governor's Study Club.
Dr Wright, his wife Margaret, and their three children enjoy an active rural lifestyle. When not in the office he can be found spending time with his family on their small horse farm or pursuing any of their many other outdoor interests in middle Tennessee. Dr Wright and his family attend Grace Chapel Church in Leipers Fork.
